David Stevens

David Stevens is a production sound mixer that has worked in film and television since 2004. He studied political science at the University of Oklahoma before pursuing a career in the film industry. 

David’s interest in independent film has led him to work with uniquely talented directors throughout the United States. He has worked on several films that have been supported by the Sundance Institute Native American Initiative. In 2008, he co-produced the Navajo film, Shimasani, which premiered at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival.

David joined Travelscope during its fourth season and looks forward to helping the Travelscope team bring foreign cultures to the PBS audience. David currently lives in Los Angeles.
