Zebediah Smith
With an extensive background in writing and performance, Zebediah Smith moved into the world of film and video 10 years ago. Working at smaller production studios gave him the chance to work in production and post-production, teaching him about nearly every aspect of filmmaking. Turning his focus to television and feature-length documentaries, he co-founded open jaw productions and is editing the company’s first feature documentary, WHATEVER IT TAKES, about a rookie principal’s creation of a South Bronx high school.
Working as an editor, director of photography, and motion graphics designer, he has worked on films such as PRESS PASS TO THE WORLD, A LIFE IN MODERN DANCE, WHISPERED PRAYERS, AS SEEN THROUGH THESE EYES, SCHULWEIS: THE FIRST 80 YEARS, and WHEEL OF JEOPARDY, open jaw’s second documentary. He is excited to join the Travelscope team and help show the PBS audience what the world of travel has to offer.
