The rooms are built into “fairy chimneys”, formations created by natural erosion over millions of years. Most of the rooms feature Jacuzzis and have views of spectacular formations, some with fireplaces and others converted from 1,200-year old churches, wineries, pigeon coops and living quarters, all creating an amazing atmosphere. There are many marvelous hikes just minutes away and the Valley of the Churches, the open-air museum, is just a ten minute walk.
